Why entrepreneurs need a smarter, simpler way to find business support.

Small business owners in Flevoland often struggle to find their way through countless grants, subsidies, and support programs. Many don’t know where to start or what’s available. To help them out, a new online platform is being developed where entrepreneurs can ask questions, get clear, tailored answers, and quickly connect with a business advisor.

How we solve it

Smart user-focused design, built on real needs.

We start by listening to the entrepreneurs and their stakeholders themselves. Through a customer journey workshop, we uncover their biggest challenges and frustrations. These insights shape the platform’s structure, user flows, and interaction design.

Understand users

In collaboration with the marketing and communication team, we created different user mindsets to present in a workshop and map the user journey.

The workshop returned insights that help in:

  • Understanding of user behaviours.
  • Alignment across the organization.
  • Gaining insights into what users want and don’t want.

We linked pain points to “pain relievers” that respond to users’ expectations.
